Jewellery designer Lin Shiao Tung embodies the quintessence of "artistic conception" as found in Chinese ink brush painting and calligraphy into his jewellery design,  thereby transforming jewellery into miniature architectural sculptures with three-dimensional perspective. In doing so, Lin imbues his designs with intangible spiritual connotations that evoke the essence of traditional Chinese culture. The–Instant of LOVE series arises from the designer's purest emotion, where the metallic lines of the jewellery, akin to poetry, convey an array of indefinite meanings. On a similar note, the My Jade series employs advanced 3D jade carving techniques to convey a new level of humanistic touch, thereby demonstrating Lin's mastery of his art.
